Club Mulwala is proud to announce a landmark $100,000 donation to Yarrawonga Health’s Community Heart Appeal — the single largest contribution in the Club’s history of supporting local causes.
This extraordinary act of giving propels the Appeal’s fundraising total to $750,000, with Yarrawonga Health now on the home stretch toward its $1 million goal. Funds raised are being used to purchase vital medical equipment for the region’s new surgical theatre, which was constructed with the support of the Victorian Government through the Victorian Health Building Authority.
Club Mulwala Board Chair Des O’Meara said the donation was a “once-in-a-generation opportunity” to leave a lasting legacy.
“This project will make a real difference to the lives of local people. We see it as a privilege to be part of something so meaningful, and we hope our contribution inspires others to join the final push.”
Yarrawonga Health CEO Robin Haberecht described the donation as a “legacy investment” in the region’s future healthcare.
“We are incredibly grateful for Club Mulwala’s vision and commitment. This kind of support enhances the capability of our local surgical services and strengthens the health of our entire community.”
The Community Heart Appeal has already enabled the purchase of modern surgical equipment, with more to follow in preparation for the new theatre’s opening. Club Mulwala is honoured to support this critical initiative that will have lasting impact for generations to come.
