Functions & Events Manager

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Functions & Events Manager to lead and grow our functions and events offering here at ClubMulwala!

📍 Location: ClubMulwala
🕒 Position: Full Time Leadership Role
📅 Availability: Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and event periods as required

About the Role:
This exciting hands-on leadership role will see you managing the full event journey — from first enquiry through to seamless delivery.

From weddings and celebrations to corporate functions, community events and special occasions, you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences while helping shape and grow the Club’s events offering.

Duties include event sales and enquiry management, function planning, client liaison, team leadership, event coordination, room set-up oversight, catering logistics, entertainment coordination and post-event review.

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Previous experience in functions, events or hospitality management
✔️ Strong organisational and time management skills
✔️ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔️ Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on operationally
✔️ A calm, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Strong attention to detail and high presentation standards
✔️ Experience with booking/event systems and Microsoft Office
✔️ RSA accreditation (essential)

We’re on the lookout for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our Night Cleaning Crew here at Club Mulwala!

🧹 Position: Night Cleaner
📍 Location: Club Mulwala
🕒 Hours: Late evening/night shifts (exact hours discussed at interview)
📅 Availability: Must be available to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster

About the Role:
As a Night Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our club spotless and welcoming for members and guests. Duties include general cleaning of floors, bathrooms, dining areas, gaming lounges, and more.

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Ability to work independently
✔️ Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
✔️ Reliability and punctuality

The role will include the following responsibilities:

• Washing, disinfecting and polishing dishware based on company procedures
• Maintaining order and cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas and service areas based on industry and company standards
• Cleaning general utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cooking, toasting and heating food under the supervision of Line Chefs
• Assembling and preparing food ingredients for cooking
• Restocking kitchen supplies and maintaining equipment as needed
• Packing food and drinking trays for serving

Beauty & Massage Therapist - Essenza Day Spa

Essenza Day Spa is currently looking for qualified, motivated & passionate beauty and spa therapists to join a great team in our spa located at ClubMulwala, in the beautiful Yarrawonga/Mulwala region.

Enjoy being a part of a great team offering high quality treatments and excellence in customer service.

Our offerings include facials, body scrubs, relaxation and aromatherapy massage,  head spa, manicure/pedicures, exfoliation treatments, waxing and tinting and spray tanning.

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

• Suitably qualified and willing to undertake further training where necessary  (Diploma preferred).
• A professional who cares about what they do and how their clients respond, with strong team skills
• Strong communication skills and a passion for the industry
• Excellent grooming and presentation standards

We have Casual positions currently available and can offer some flexibility in hours.  Currently the Day Spa is open Wednesday to Saturday.
