Club Mulwala – located on the NSW Border from Yarrawonga is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our leadership team during an exciting period of growth.
Club Mulwala is a respected, community focused club committed to exceptional hospitality. The Club has a team of 160 staff, 4 bars, 4 restaurants, 20,000 members, resort accommodation and day spa.
As Duty Manager, you’ll be a visible, hands-on leader supporting the day-to-day operations of the Club, leading the team and delivering exceptional experiences for our members and guests.
This full-time, role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow their career with an expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, service delivery and floor leadership
- Lead by example as a visible, approachable presence
- Handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming, AML/CTF, WHS and RSA requirements
Support management with operational standards and continuous improvement
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high standards of presentation, service and safety
- Support a positive team culture and staff development
About You
You're confident, approachable and lead from the front. You thrive in a busy environment where no two days are the same, and you're passionate about great experiences for members, guests and your team.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience as a Duty Manager, Venue Manager or in hospitality leadership; club, gaming or hospitality background preferred
Strong leadership and team development skills
- A genuine commitment to exceptional service
- Sound knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming compliance, AML/CTF and WHS obligations
- Experience with cash handling, reconciliation and venue operations
- Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Composure and professionalism under pressure
- Flexibility for a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
